Spinner.tools is a wheel spinner and a small set of random pickers built on the same wheel: a yes or no wheel, a random name picker, a random team generator, and wheels for letters, numbers and countries. Everything is free and nothing needs an account.
Why it exists
Most spinner wheels online are either buried under advertising or missing the two things people actually need: a way to remove a winner so nobody is picked twice, and a way to carry a list from one device to another. This site keeps the wheel in the first screen, puts the list beside it, and makes removing, saving and sharing one click each.
How the wheel picks
The winner is chosen the moment you click, using the browser's cryptographic random number generator. The spinning animation starts after that choice and only carries the wheel to the chosen slice. Weighted entries change the size of a slice and its odds in the same proportion. The method, and a simulator you can run yourself, are explained on is the wheel spinner random.
What runs where
The wheel, the pickers, your lists, your settings and your saved wheels all live in your browser. A share link encodes the list inside the URL rather than uploading it. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits; the privacy policy explains what that involves and how to opt out.
